About Me

After spending my childhood scribbling stories on whatever paper I could find, I always knew that whatever I did to pay the bills would have to involve writing. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a BA in English and French and from Emerson College (Boston) with an MFA in Creative Writing. I currently reside in Austin, where I write killer content, eat tacos, and do my part to keep Austin weird. 

I am a writer and marketer skilled at creating strategic, creative, and impactful short—and long-form content. I have over 11 years of experience writing for companies in various industries, including staffing, video production, luxury real estate, eCommerce technology, and influencer marketing technology.

I spent three years owning the consultant-facing marketing and content strategy, writing content, and managing email campaigns from end-to-end, including creation, execution, and reporting for one of the market leaders in the high-end, gig-economy consulting space. Currently, I work full-time as a Senior Email Marketing Specialist creating campaigns in Marketo targeted towards enterprise employers for Indeed.
